Before the explosion of online bingo games, there never was a problem playing bingo because you were always playing in bingo halls local to you (well, unless you travel a lot!) and you were able to learn the rules of play native to your own country. Times have changed and as a result, more and more players are scooting back and forth between UK bingo sites and US bingo sites, depending on which site, or which country has the biggest jackpot!

There may be trade agreements in place and international gaming laws that won’t allow you to wager in another country, but free bingo is always available. There are some sites where you can play free UK 90 ball bingo and some where you must make a deposit. The same holds true for the US as well. The main difference is in the cards/tickets you will be playing.

In the US, bingo cards are set up with the letters B-I-N-G-O across the top while in the UK you will be presented with a strip of 6 tickets each with boxes set up in three lines with nine columns. Every number between 1 and 90 will be on the strip at some point. The object is to be the first to fill up the entire ticket in order to win the prize. So then, whether playing UK Classic 90 ball bingo or US 75 ball bingo, the object is to get a full house (fill up the card) to get the cash. Don’t let appearances fool you! It’s the same game with slight variations.
